FabraForma is a scale model and fabrication studio in Powai, Mumbai, 4½ hours' flight from Riyadh. We build sales-gallery, masterplan, exhibition and plant models for projects in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province.

Models are designed to travel: built in sections, crated, flown or shipped, and put together on site. We work from your drawings or BIM files and agree the hand-over date before we start.

How a Saudi order works

The same studio process as our Mumbai work, with the export steps added.

  • 1. Brief and drawings.
    Send CAD, BIM or PDF drawings, the scale or base size, the hand-over date and the city. We reply within 24 hours with questions and a plan.
  • 2. Written quote.
    An itemised quote in Indian rupees, with an approximate value in riyals, the build time and how the model will travel. We agree whether it ships by air or sea and who collects it.
  • 3. Build and progress photos.
    The model is printed, machined, painted and assembled in Powai. You get progress photos and a video walk-round before it is packed.
  • 4. Sectioned and crated.
    Large models are split into sections that fit standard air-freight crates, with foam-lined compartments and a numbered assembly sheet.
  • 5. Shipping.
    Air freight Mumbai to Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, or sea freight for large or non-urgent models. The buyer in Saudi Arabia is the importer of record and clears customs; we supply the commercial invoice, packing list and photos the broker needs.
  • 6. Assembly on site.
    A simple model is joined using the assembly sheet. For larger models our team can travel to set it up, quoted separately.

    If your company's head office is in India, it can order and pay in India and we hand the model over in Mumbai for your own logistics.

Do you deliver scale models to Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We build in Mumbai and ship by air or sea to Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam. Large models travel in sections and are put together on site.
Who handles Saudi customs?
The buyer in Saudi Arabia is the importer of record and clears customs through their broker. We provide the commercial invoice, packing list, photos and product description they need.
How long does a model take?
It depends on size and detail. We give a build time and a hand-over date in the written quote and plan the freight into it.
Can the model have an Arabic nameplate?
Yes. Nameplates, labels and legends can be in Arabic and English.
