Capabilities
What we run.Stated plainly.
Serious buyers audit capability claims, so we publish ours the way we'd want to read them: what happens in our Powai studio, and what we deliver through vetted partners. If a process isn't the right answer for your part, the quote will say so.
- FDM 3D printing — Bambu Lab fleet Multi-material and multi-colour builds, engineering thermoplastics, iterated daily. Our core process.
- SLA resin printing — HeyGears Reflex 2 Pro High-detail resin parts with fine features and smooth, near-injection surfaces — printed in-house.
- CNC machining Machined features and parts where printing isn't right — flat, true and toleranced.
- Resin casting Silicone moulds and PU casts for short runs and cast-quality surfaces.
- Moulding Mould-making for masters, patterns and repeatable short-run parts.
- Premium finishing Sanding, priming, painting, clear-coat and texture — the studio's signature stage.
- SLA (large-format) Resin parts beyond our in-house SLA envelope.
- SLS (PA12 nylon) Support-free complex geometries and durable batch parts.
- MJF Production-grade nylon parts at volume.
- Metal printing (DMLS/SLM) Quoted case-by-case with full disclosure of the partner process.
Partner-routed work is always labelled as such in your quote — you'll never discover it after the fact.
Working envelope
In-house FDM specifications
| Specification | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Layer height | 0.08 – 0.28 mm | Finer layers for visual parts, coarser for speed |
| Typical tolerance | ± 0.2 mm or ± 0.2% | Tighter achievable with DfAM review; stated per-part in quotes |
| Larger than the bed? | Sectioned builds | Printed in parts, joined, reinforced and finished to a seamless surface |
| Multi-colour / multi-material | Yes | AMS-fed builds for colour and support-material combinations |
Exact machine list and build volumes are shared in quotes and on studio visits.
Materials
Stocked and printed in-house
| Material | Character | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| PLA / PLA+ | Stiff, precise, easy detail | Concept models, visual prototypes, patterns |
| PETG | Tough, slightly flexible, weatherable | Functional prototypes, enclosures, fixtures |
| ABS / ASA | Durable, heat-resistant, paintable | End-use parts, automotive trim, outdoor parts |
| TPU | Flexible, abrasion-resistant | Gaskets, grips, protective covers |
| PA (Nylon) | Strong, wear-resistant | Working mechanisms, clips, hinges |
| PA-CF / PETG-CF | Carbon-fibre reinforced, rigid | Jigs, fixtures, brackets, motorsport parts |
| Casting resins (PU) | Cast surface quality | Short runs, masters, presentation pieces |
Need a datasheet or a material we haven't listed? Ask in your RFQ — if it's a partner material, we'll say so.
Why the honesty
Overclaiming costs more than owning a focused list
Plenty of sites catalogue every process in the textbook. We'd rather you know exactly which machine your part comes off, who ran it, and why that process was chosen. When a job genuinely needs SLS, MJF or metal, we scope it through partners we've tested — labelled, never laundered.
Ask us anything on a studio visit
We're at Gate No. 6, Saki Vihar Road, Powai. See the fleet, the finishing bench and parts in progress — then decide.
Plan a visit →Not sure which process fits?
Send the part. We'll recommend the honest route — in-house or partner — with the trade-offs written down.
